Good food. Since 1958.
More than a meal, The FirePlace is a family road-house built around generous favourites, familiar faces and a little nostalgia.
Six decades of gathering around the table.
Sylvia Kongos opened the first FirePlace Roadhouse in Boksburg in 1958. In 1981, Manuel Neto took over the business and grew it into a much-loved local stop. The branches have remained in the family, carrying the same promise forward: quality food, generous portions and welcoming service.
The Brakpan branch opened in November 2013, bringing the FirePlace feeling to Dalpark. Upstairs, the 60s diner adds retro details and a self-service ice-cream parlour to the family outing.
Today, both branches welcome friends and families for a proper road-house meal, whether you settle in, collect your food or order for delivery.
A little time travel with your ice cream.
Step into the 60s diner for retro décor, hearty plates and a self-service ice-cream parlour. It is a cheerful stop for families, friends and anyone who likes their dessert with a side of nostalgia.
Make it a FirePlace day.
Choose your branch, bring your appetite and enjoy the road-house tradition.
